The Foundation Supports the Rio Hondo Boys & Girls Club with a Scholarship

Lexus Rodriguez was recognized as the Rio Hondo Boys and Girls Club 'Youth of the Year' for 2014 and The Adam St. Martin Foundation is pleased to present her with a $1,000.00 scholarship.  She plans to attend Cal State Dominguez Hills and major in Criminal Justice.

Sara Castro (pictured with her mother Mona Castro) received a scholarship.  She is entering her senior year at Cal State Los Angeles and wants to pursue a career in Human Resources.  Sara is a heart transplant recipient and has actively participated in the Transplant games and been an ambassador for Donate Life California.

Scholarship recipients for 2013 include Jade Boyd and Steve Garland.  Jade who is austistic is an art major who wants to pursue an animation related career and Steve is a cancer survivor pursuing an education in music.  Jade is pictured with her parents and Foundation members Gloria and Patrick Lowry during a scholarship reception at Long Beach Community College. Steve is pictured with Executive Director Patrick Lowry.  

The Foundation Helps LBCC Celebrate 85 Years

  The 2012 Long Beach Community College Scholarships were awarded to Vaneric Marshall, Tracey McNeal and David Apodaca in a ceremony on May 22, 2012.

Scholarships Awarded

The Adam St. Martin Foundation partnered with Long Beach City College to award scholarships at a ceremony at the school on May 24, 2011.  The recipients of these scholarships are Jose Marquez, Maria Razo and Nadira Saban. Each has worked hard to overcome challenges and have remained focussed on their education.  Two of last years recipients have gone on to Universities and are one step closer their degrees.  Congratulations to all!
